I know - I promised that the new version will introduce much more features (especially import/export), and I am working on it, but a few e-mails titled “data loss” convinced me to publish a new version faster, as it is.
To be clear - even with the previous version it was quite difficult too loose your data, and even if this happened, there was always a backup copy. But - there was one condition - after confirming, that there is a problem, the backup copy had to be used before reopening the program once again. Most users (who experienced data loss, for any reason) first tried to open the program once again to see if it helps, and then contacted me. Fortunately, as far as I know, this kind of problem occurred only a few times.
Anyway - now the program produces a backup every day, and then removes backups older than 3 days, so there is always some backup.
Still - as always, it is important to make backups on your own - of all of your documents.
New in both versions:
converting types of items (e.g. converting a note to a task)
keywords auto-completion
a few minor bug fixes
New in Total Organizer Pro only:
adding file attachments and links
adding pictures to items (contacts,notes etc)
a few more improvements

Bug fix: if main window was not maximized some dialog boxes had wrong positions, now it’s ok.

From now on, Total Organizer comes in two versions - free and PRO. The difference isn’t big, but since the price is $9.50 only, I think it’s really worth to look at it.
If your’re wondering why so quickly, then the answer is… bandwidth - every week number of downloads of Total Organizer increases by about 30% - that’s why my website was offline a few times in the last weeks. This program must start paying for itself

What’s new in version 1.5
Now Total Organizer comes in two versions, free, and Pro (paid)
Grouping reminders in one window (instead of one window for every reminder) - optionally.
Multi day tasks now displayed correctly.

Most of the changes were introduced in recent Beta version, like ‘Live Filter’, ‘Search tool’ or adding user- defined columns
This is only a small update: Total Organizer now remembers its last window position, recently opened document, and a few more minor improvements.
