What’s new:

• Scripting engine is now updated - a few serious bugs were fixed.
• ACL (containers) behaviour changed - now dropping files/folder to a folder on the list copies them to this folder instead of adding to the list.
• When renaming a file with Ctrl down (making a copy) the list wasn’t refreshed - fixed.

First of all - now Ac Browser Plus is available in two versions - the original ‘Ac Browser Plus’ (shareware), and “Ac Browser Plus Free Edition” - which is… free. The only difference is that in the freeware version there is a limit of 3 browse windows opened at a time, which I suppose isn’t so bad.

What’s new (in both versions): 

• queueing file operations, so you can ‘collect’ file operations (like moving/copying)  and then execute it, one by one.
• Encrypting files (and decrypting) - using Rijndael (AES) 128-bit encryption algorithm
• Zooming thumbnails in and out is now back (Ctrl + mouse wheel or Ctrl+numpad plus/minus)
• “Global” tree view available (in ‘Quick Access Bar’ on the left)
• A few more minor changes.

Details

The script engine is called Ac Script and is based on DNM Script. Similar solution will also be available in Total Organizer. I hope the script engine will enable you to further customize both applications.

Script’s documentation will be available on kwiki (konradp.com’s wiki) only.

Finally, I started working on AcB. And finally, there is a simple FTP client built in the program. Please note however that this is beta version so please don’t use it on any sensitive data.
