Editing Organizer's itemsSince all item-editing dialog boxes share some common characteristics, this document describes them all. Information provided here applies to all the types of items - tasks, notes etc. To open the edit dialog box, double click an existing item (or press Enter on selected one), or create a new item (by clicking the "add" button for example). An example (task): (the 'relations and attachment' list, visible on the right, is available only in 'Pro' version).
Title Most important part of every item - short information (although there is no limit in length) - is visible in every list, Quick search tool will look first at this element, and it always will be printed/exported. Folders list Select folders you want the item to belong, you may select more than one folder. Note (or 'contents') RTF (Rich Text Format) edit box. You can store longer information here, along with images and formatting. Keywords The "Quick search" tool searches in items titles and keywords, therefore it's a good idea to always add a few keywords best describing an item being edited. Besides you can also filter the lists by keywords. Separate them with a semicolon. You can also use 'down arrow' keyboard shortcut to get a list of keywords or auto-complete an already entered part of keyword. Image Only in Total Organizer Pro version. You can add images to every item (contacts, notes etc). Simply left-click the image control to browse for an image (which will be copied to the database), or right-click to get the context menu. Relations and attachments Only in Total Organizer Pro version. List of relations - that is, connections between items (added manually and/or created automatically by the program) and attachments (so you can add files to items). More: Relations and attachments. Voice Message Available in Total Organizer Pro only. Allows you to add voice message to an item. Item... The 'Item...' button, located on the left of 'OK' button brings you the 'item' menu, that is, commands available for items already existing in database. You can for example remove an item using this menu straight from the edit window. This button is not available if you are editing a newly created item - because as long as you don't click 'OK' button - the item doesn't exists yet. Remarks Keyboard shortcuts:
