Getting started :: Overview

Please look at the Introduction :: Overview first.

Basic usage.

At the top of the main application window, you can see the tabs, like "General", "Schedule" and so on, where you can store different types of items.

To start quickly, click the "to do" tab, and then click the "Create a new item" button or press Ctrl+N to add a new "to do" item (you can also double click an empty space somewhere in the list). In the same way you can also add tasks, notes, contacts.

All the tabs:

  • General - here you can see the "agenda" view. To put it shortly (right now): by clicking the "add..." link, you can add a task. However, the "schedule" view is a better place to add and modify tasks.
  • Schedule - Here you can see and manage daily scheduled tasks. Graphical hourly day view represents time of the day with scheduled tasks as white rectangles. Double click somewhere in the yellow area to add a new task, you can also move the tasks. More: Schedule.
  • To Do - here you can manage your to-do list tasks, that is, task without a start and due date&time. More: todo list.
  • Notes - can hold formatted text and images. More: Notes.
  • Contacts - more: contacts.

Tips:

  • The quickest way to add an item (eg. contact or note) is to double click an empty space in current list or to press Ctrl+N
  • To edit an item, double click it
  • To remove an item (or items) select them and press "Delete".
  • You can use tab key to switch between controls in the main window, and Ctrl+Tab to switch between tabs ("General", "Schedule" etc).
  • You can double click e.g. 'Notes' tab (at the top of the list view) to create a new Note.
