| Working faster. Le'ts talk about
those little improvements / ideas / solutions, which make your work much
more efficient and easier. We will look at the main screenshot again to
get more detailed information about some of the features.
Ac Quick Search [3]
Example of something you really do often: You're browsing some folder,
looking for a specific file, you know it has word e.g. "trip" in its
name, what do you do? In most cases you're slooooowly scrolling down to
find it, or open some sort of file finder.
And what about this: you just start typing "trip" and you get all the
files with this word listed for you? How faster would that be?
You also can list all the files of specific extension, by entering e.g.
"gif;jpg" (and you get all those files listed), and if you want, you can
search in subfolders too. You can even search for text in files, by
entering it in quotes.
Of course, you can create the ACL, to do something with the files.
This is called Ac Quick Search. Self-dissapearing when you are done.
Suggestion Tool [1]
No, it's not "address bar history". It's much more.
(Only for Users working with lots, lots of folders and files)
You're probably opening dozens of different folders and files
every moment. And you probably think it is usual, that you have to browse
from folder to folder, openning subfolders and again subfolders, and again...
Alternatively you're using "favorites", and you're walking through
thousands of items in there.
And now - what do you do, if you want to find something in the
Internet? You enter keywords in some search engine.
Well, AcB learns about folders you're most often working with. Actually,
after some time, thousands of locations on your disc have something like "importance
weight",
Now - start typing words or letters to find what you want. AcB will
dynamically refresh a list of suggestions for you basing on a few factors.
And in most cases, it finds what you want. A little useless example: enter
"win sys" to get into "C:\Windows\System32" if you've been there.
Hot Point Viewer
Just move your mouse pointer over a this small red rectangle near to
every file to show its contents - let it be a text or image.
Threads
Do you like waiting until certain operation finishes? If you don't -
then note that most things ACB does - it does it in separate threads.
FTP
AcB comes with a built-in FTP
Client. You can work with FTP folders just like with any other folder
on your computer.
