| Simple, but effective. If you have
ever renamed lots of files manually, one by one, you have probably spent
way too much time on this.
"Ac Mass Rename" is one of the simplest tool in AcB. But still
effective, even if you can't see hundreds of options / edit boxes.
It renames your files and folders basing on templates [1]
and [2],
so you have full control over this process. No more options like "prefix",
"postfix" and so on.
You can also search & replace strings in files' names [3],
as well as change to upper/lower case [4]
.
Before you press "OK" you can see what will be done.
And, if you made a mistake - no problem, AcB knows what "undo"
means.
Ac Mass Rename obviously works with AcB's "ACL" solution. About
ACL's will be later.
And if your tasks can be automated in any way, there is also another
tool in AcB: Editorial Renaming, enabling you to rename
files just like in a text editor.
