Folder synchronizer toolThis tool lets you synchronize two folders (including subfolders) with just a few clicks. This includes local, network, FTP and zip folders. First open two folders in two different browse windows (optional). Then go to Tools | Synchronize folders, choose a desired mode, click Analyze if you'd like to preview what will happen (optional), and finally press Synchronize. ModesIn "Bidirectional" mode, files and folder are copied from left to right and vice versa. Newer files from left folder are copied to the right folder, as well as files not existing in the right directory. The same in the opposite direction. "Left->right" mode is a better choice for backuping/archiving or, when you know that only one of the folders was modified and you want to copy only those modified files. This works only in left to right direction, i.e. files newer in the left folder are copied to the right as well as files which do not exist in the right folder. Nothing however is copied from right to left folder. Preview windowAfter clicking analyze button, you'll be able to see what will be done when you press Synchronize. Right, blue arrow means that a file will be copied from left folder to the right one, or that a folder will be created on the right. Left, orange arrow means that a file will be copied from right to left, or that a folder will be created on the left. Black, equals sign ("=") means that a file is the same in both directories and so nothing will be done. No icon means that nothing will be done, because it is unnecessary (e.g. folders exist in both locations so no folder must be created), or because current mode doesn't allow certain operation (e.g. a file in the right folder is newer, but current mode is: "Left to right" so it won't be copied).
