QI (Question\Idea) : I've lost my key....
A: Just send me your name, and I will send you
the key once again. Contact the author.
QI:
I purchased the program, and now what?
A: You will soon receive a registration key,
which will enable ACB for you. Keep this key, because it's for ever, you'll
never be charged for upgrades and new releases.
QI: I've found on your website, that I can
convert images (e.g. from bmp to jpg), but I don't see anything like that in the
menu...
A: You can simply rename a file. For example from
"image.bmp" to "image.jpg", using F2. Or, you can use Image Quick Viewer, select
an image, press F3, there you can find options like save as, convert, brightness
& contrast etc..
QI: What the is Editorial
Renaming? I fired it up, and now what?
A: I don't like reading manuals too...:) Thanks
to this tool, you can much simpler change names of numerous of files, just like
in the text editor. So, change the names in the Edit Box which appeared, and
press Renamed to make those changes. (You can always Undo this operation by
pressing Ctrl+Z).
QI: I don't want to use my credit card to
purchase your software...
A: You can use wire transfer (Contact
me to get bank account information) or send me cash via postal mail.

QI: An auto refresh feature on the folders lists when copying or moving
files should be possible, instead of having to type Alt+R every time I made
copies, etc.
A: When copying or moving
files is done from within the ACB, then the autorefresh is done. However, when
some operation is done outside the ACB, then indeed, this feature would be
great, and will be done.

QI: Why are some
files and directories made bold?
A: Because they
are in you favorites links and/or are the newest ones. Look at the
options/general if you don't like it.
QI : After a file operation starting move the progress window to top
(example during copy, move, del i have AcBrowser maximized, and progress window comes up UNDER it)
A: Actually, that was
intentional. Why to bother the user ? If there is a problem (overwriting, not
enough disk space etc..) then the operation window appears. But I will do that -
as an option.
QI: There is no
way to change colors/layout ACB is using ? I don't see it in options ?
A: It's because ACB generally uses various files
to which define/change various ACB's areas. Regarding colors - you can change a
skin by going to tools/options/select skin, look at the %Ac Browser
Plus%/skins folder if you want to create your own. In the future I'll add a skin
editor or something like that.
