Menu commands: File | Encryption | Encrypt... or Decrypt...
These commands allows you to encrypt/decrypt files using
Rijndael
(AES) 128-bit encryption algorithm. First select files (and/or) folders you want
to process, then choose an appropriate menu command.
If you selected folders, all files inside will be processed, including
subfolders.
To all encrypted files a new extension (".enc") will be added.
The program will not encrypt an already encrypted file, and it will
not attempt to decrypt a non-encrypted file, so, if you execute the 'encrypt'
command, it will simply omit a file if it's already encrypted. This means that
you can for example, encrypt a folder, then copy new files/folders to it, and
then encrypt everything again - only the new, non-encrypted files will be
processed. The same with decryption.
There is no way to decrypt files if you forget the password.
