Downloading files from the Internet. You may drag&drop files from the Internet straight to one of the ACB's browse window. If this is htm\html file, then by default a shortcut will be created, otherwise you'll have an option to download the file. In this way you can drag&drop links from (for example) Internet Explorer® or Firefox® Internet browsers. If you want to explicitly download a file without questions - keep Ctrl pressed when dropping a file. On the other hand - if you want to explicitly create a shortcut to this file, keep Alt pressed. In this way you may download for example images, zip or exe files. Note however, that if the real file's type is different than it's extension, (e.g. file's extension is .zip, but in real it is text\html with the redirection code, or the information that a resource is moved), then ACB will not detect this. You should also remember, that in many cases when there is "download now" or something like that on a web page, in real it points not to a file to download, but to the php \ java script or html page with redirection directive, which will not be handled by ACB correctly. As an example, you can now try to drag&drop this link to one of the opened
windows in ACB: (This is just one of my other software, I couldn't find any other reliable Internet resource, to remove this, please select it with your left mouse button and press Shift+Delete). You can also use the "import" tool, more.
