Folder - based GUIHow Ac Browser Plus stores your scripts, favorites and toolbars. Technical information. Ac Browser Plus uses regular folders to store your 'Favorites', 'Scripts' and 'Userbar' settings. This short technical article covers the 'favorites' menu as an example. Changing 'Favorites' menu. First, you may want to open the folder of your favorites by clicking 'Favorites | Edit favorites' menu command. Based on this folder, the menu is dynamically created. Therefore, as an exercise, please create a new subfolder named e.g. 'test' (by pressing F7 or choosing 'Commands | Create new folder' menu command) . Now click the 'Favorites' menu again, you'll see a new popup menu named 'test'. You have just created a new submenu. So, as you can see, every folder is always a submenu (popup menu). Files, on the other hand, are the commands itself (precisely, link files in case of 'Favorites'). You can now try to create a link, by dragging&dropping some folder with 'Alt' pressed to your newly created 'test' folder. If you will now click again your 'favorites' menu you should see this folder as a menu command. This means, that managing your favorites can be done in the same way you manage/organize your files and folders. By creating more subfolders, moving them around, you are modifying your 'Favorites' menu. The folder, serving as a base for 'Favorites' menu is located at 'Favorites' folder in AcB's installation directory. 'Scripts' and 'Userbar' In exactly the same way 'Scripts' menu and 'User bar' work. Your 'Scripts' menu is being built on "Scripts" folder located in AcB's installation directory. 'User bar' (a toolbar) is located in 'UserBar' folder of AcB's installation directory. See also:
